21 year old Mattea Joy is a must-see, award-winning, rising folk rock singer/songwriter based in Milwaukee. Born and raised in Central Wisconsin, Mattea has been making a name for herself as one of Wisconsin’s finest since age 13, going from an avid open mic performer to a fully booked musician by 18. Mattea’s original music takes inspiration from a wide array of artists, decades, and genres, putting her own remarkable twist on familiar sounds, and taking them to fresh, modern heights. Mattea Joy & The Canadian Tuxedos is a three person project consisting of frontwoman Mattea Joy, bassist Nolan O'Keefe, and drummer Payton Seymour.
